Our Story
About Blackburn Carpentry
Who We Are
South West Carpentry & Joinery Specialists
Blackburn Carpentry is a family-run carpentry and joinery business based in Salisbury, Wiltshire. Founded on a passion for quality craftsmanship, we specialise in all forms of carpentry — from structural timber frames and barn conversions to fine interior joinery and flooring.
Our team brings together traditional skills and contemporary techniques, ensuring every project we take on is built to last and finished to the highest standard. We serve homeowners, developers and contractors across Wiltshire, Hampshire, Dorset and London.
We are proud of our reputation for reliability, transparency and attention to detail — which is why so much of our work comes through repeat clients and personal referral.
Our Values
What Sets Us Apart
Craftsmanship First
We take immense pride in the quality of our work. Every joint, every fixing, every finish is executed to the same exacting standard — whether on a national commercial project or a single door.
Reliability You Can Count On
We turn up when we say we will, complete on programme and communicate clearly throughout. No surprises, no excuses — just professional delivery.
Locally Rooted
We are embedded in the South West community, understanding local planning requirements, building styles and the expectations of clients in the region.
Honest Relationships
Our quotes are clear and complete. We tell you what we find, advise honestly on the best approach, and never inflate scope unnecessarily. Your trust is something we earn and protect.
